#4426 Portable Split Argentine Grill | Santa Maria-Style Adjustable Grill
Closed-Front or Open-Front Firebox • Model #4426
Free Shipping* • Made in the USA
The #4426 Portable Split Argentine Grill combines the adjustable-height cooking control of a Santa Maria-style grill with traditional Argentine V-grates and drip pans. Two independently adjustable cooking grates allow you to raise or lower each side separately over a wood or charcoal fire, giving you precise control over multiple cooking zones.
Unlike models that use a brasero to produce embers separately, the #4426 is designed for cooking directly over the wood fire or charcoal in the firebox. Adjust heat intensity by managing the fire and independently raising or lowering each cooking grate.
Choose an open-front firebox for easy access to the fire, or a closed-front firebox for a more enclosed look. Heavy-duty casters provide mobility, making Model #4426 an excellent choice for residential outdoor cooking as well as restaurants and professional live-fire kitchens.
Available in sizes from 48" to 72" in your choice of 3/16" black steel with stainless steel grilling surfaces or all 304 stainless steel construction.
Includes a Complimentary Matching Argentine BBQ Tool Set — Up to an $802 Value

Choose Your Construction
3/16" Black Steel with Stainless Steel Grilling Surfaces
Rugged and traditional, black steel provides excellent heat retention and the classic appearance of a live-fire grill, while stainless steel grilling surfaces provide durability and easier maintenance where food is cooked.
All 304 Stainless Steel Construction
Durable, corrosion-resistant, and lower maintenance. All 304 stainless steel construction is especially well suited for coastal or high-humidity environments, commercial kitchens, or customers who prefer the appearance and maintenance advantages of stainless steel.

Argentine Grilling Meets Santa Maria-Style Heat Control
Model #4426 brings together two traditional approaches to live-fire cooking.
The Argentine V-grates provide angled cooking channels that direct grease and drippings away from the fire and into drip pans, helping reduce flare-ups.
The independently adjustable grate system provides the height control associated with Santa Maria-style grilling. Each cooking grate can be raised or lowered separately using its own side hand wheel.
Together, these features allow you to control heat in two ways: manage the wood or charcoal fire beneath the food and independently adjust the height of each cooking surface above it.
Two Independent Cooking Zones
The split-grate design is one of the biggest advantages of Model #4426.
Each grate operates independently, allowing you to position one cooking surface closer to the fire for higher-temperature cooking while raising the other for gentler heat.
This lets you sear steaks or chops on one side while cooking chicken, seafood, vegetables, sausages, or other foods at a different temperature on the other.
On the larger 60" and 72" models, the differently sized cooking surfaces provide additional flexibility when preparing different quantities of food.
Open-Front or Closed-Front Firebox
Model #4426 can be ordered with either an open-front or closed-front firebox.
Open Front
The open-front configuration provides convenient access to the wood, charcoal, and embers throughout the cooking process, making it easy to manage and redistribute the fire.
Closed Front
The closed-front configuration creates a more enclosed firebox appearance while retaining the independently adjustable cooking grates above the fire.
Choose the configuration that best fits your cooking style, outdoor space, or commercial application.
